  Nice and easy milestone to reach on the South Kaibab trail. Friendly to beginners, it can be completed in less than 2 hours with plenty of breaks. The sheer vastness of the canyon cannot be captured on a camera.
  The trailhead can only be reached by a shuttle, it's not possible to park privately so account for the additional time.

  Great view! Nice and easy hike down, you can go further down after this point.
